Roberto Firminio’s new long term deal at Liverpool with astounding contract
The 26 years old Brazilian players has signed a contract with Liverpool FC, converting him in the highest paid player on more than £9 million a year.
Firminio’s professional career started with the Figueirense club in his native Brazil where he made his professional debut on 24 October 2009 and in 2010 he moved to Hoffenheim where he played for 4 years and expose his talent to the international eye.
In June 2015 while playing for Brazil at the Copa América, Liverpool confirmed the signing that was concluded the 4th of July of the same year.
Since then he has become a key player scoring a total of 50 goals in 140 appearances.
“It was an easy decision,” he told the club’s website. “The club have taken me in in an incredible way.”
Firmino added: “I’ve grown a lot here with my work with the support of the whole team. I am very, very happy here. Everything fits in the best possible way.”
And concluded saying: “I love to play for Liverpool FC. The fans are excellent and fantastic in how they support us all the way. They support us throughout the games and the work they do during the match is beautiful.”
Roberto Firmino Barbosa de Oliveira has committed his future to the Reds until 2023.
