Free Tips for Liverpool vs. Chelsea

The battle for the title continues on Sunday, 14th April, when Liverpool will host Chelsea, and the Geeks could not be more excited. Liverpool is in the lead by 2 points with one game more played compared with their main combatant Manchester City. City will play their 33rd game on Sunday against Crystal Palace, a game City should win. Meaning, Liverpool probably needs to win against Chelsea to avoid getting behind City by 4 points.
Chelsea on the other hand come from a win against West Ham earlier this week. Sarri have been questioned several times during the season and he probably needs a win on Sunday to avoid tabloids of failure and missing the chance of top-4 position.

Liverpool:

In Liverpool´s last Premier League game they came behind against Southampton but managed to turn it around to a 3-1 victory. The hero was Mohamed Salah who scored the 2-1 goal in the 80th minute. This was Salah´s first goal since 9th February (18th goal of the season). Maurizio Sarri and his team needs to keep an eye on Salah on Sunday now when he´s finally finding the net again. Liverpool also took a comfortable win in this week´s Champions League against Porto, winning 2-0. Liverpool won’t have an easy game on Sunday, 2012 was the last time Liverpool won against Chelsea at Anfield. Something the Reds want to change for sure.

Chelsea:

Chelsea played West Ham on Monday evening, wining 2-0. On Thursday the Blues are going to Czech Republic to face Slavia Prague in the first quarterfinal of Europa League. With 3 games in one week Sarri hopes to rotate the squad to muster a strong team on Sunday against Liverpool. Chelsea got a strong record against Liverpool at Anfield. Chelsea hasn’t lost to Liverpool in the past 5 games played at Anfield.

Our Tip

Even though previous records are telling us that we probably will be looking at a draw on Sunday, we believe that Klopp and his team will be the strongest one. Salah ended his goalless streak and will definitely be a threat! Our bet is a home victory.
