Free Tips For Bet365 Jumps Finale Day

The Bet365 Jumps Finale is the final meeting of the 2018/19 jumps season and it promises to be a thriller with Altior being the headline act as he attempts to win his third consecutive Celebration Chase. We’ve got a free tip for that race as well as free tips for the Bet365 Oaksey Chase, the Bet365 Gold Cup, and the Bet365 Select Hurdle.

Bet365 Oaksey Chase (2.25)

The first four editions of this Grade 2 Chase were won by Menorah, whilst Top Notch won it last year. It takes place over an intermediate 2 miles 6 furlongs and 164 yards, which could suit Gold Present who was running a terrific race at Ayr last time off top-weight when falling two fences from home. He has a few pounds to find on official ratings, but he’s had a lighter season than most of his rivals, many of whom may be ideally suited by longer or shorter trips.

Bet365 Celebration Chase (3.00)

Only five runners are set to line-up for this Grade 1 Chase and it’s hard to make any sort of case for Diego Du Charmil, Gods Own, or Vosne Romanee, providing Altior runs anywhere near his best form. Nicky Henderson’s star chaser has recorded 14 wins from 14 races over fences and is four from four over course and distance. He’ll probably win but, providing all five-runners stand their ground, it could be worth taking an each-way punt on Sceau Royal. Alan King’s seven-year-old could still be improving judged on his third in the Champion Chase behind Altior and today’s quicker ground could just give this quick horse a squeak. He’ll probably need Altior to not be at his best but he looks the only value-bet in the race.

Bet365 Gold Cup (3.35)

The Young Master may be a ten-year-old, but the 2016 winner of the Bet365 Gold Cup has enjoyed a great season so far having been shown plenty of leniency by the handicapper. He actually won this race off a mark of 148 in 2018 but started this season with wins off marks of 130 and 135. He then ran poorly in the Ladbrokes Trophy, but he can be forgiven that run as he hates Newbury, whilst he also bounced back to form when third under a big-weight at Cheltenham last time. He races off 142 here but regular rider Sam Waley-Cohen claims 3lb and he should be fine whatever the forecast rain does to the ground.

Bet365 Select Hurdle (4.10)

None of the previous winners of this Grade 2 race have carried any sort of penalty, so Old Guard, Thomas Campbell, Black Op, On The Blind Side, and Jarvey’s Plate could all struggle. That suggests the top-rated Younevercall should have a great chance. He’s officially rated 155 and, though he failed in top-class company last time, he’s at least 6lb or more better off with all of his rivals than he would be if this was a handicap.
