ITV are kindly bringing us a double-header from Kempton and Warwick on Saturday, and The Geek has 4 TV Tips for you, including tips for Kempton’s Lanzarote Hurdle, and Warwick’s Classic Chase.

Warwick 1.50

Duel At Dawn ran a gallant race last time at Cheltenham, when trying to concede 5lb to Sizing Tennesee proved beyond him. However, as that horse has since come out and gone close in the Dipper Chase, splitting Yanworth and Willoughby Court, there’s a good chance he’s much better than his current rating of 141, a rating off which he may still prove good enough to win without any improvement.
Tip: Duel At Dawn win @ 9/4 Totesport or Bet365

Kempton 2.05

Waiting Patiently has quite a few-pounds to find with the likes of Gods Own and Smad Place, but the 7-year-old looks capable of being rated much higher in the near future after just 4 runs that include a defeat of the Tingle Creek winner Politologue. Gods Own is feared, as he would win this easily at his best, but he hasn’t shown much form at all for 7 runs, and is usually at his best on nice spring ground. Meanwhile, Smad Place ran poorly when fancied last-time, and may prefer a bit further despite being a course and distance winner.
Tip: Waiting Patiently win @ 2/1 Totesport or 7/4 WilliamHill

Kempton 2.40

Trainer Paul Nicholls has trained 2 of the last 4 winners of the Lanzarote Hurdle, and it may prove significant that he relies on the lightly-raced Topofthegame, who looks potentially well-handicapped off a mark of 139. A 9-length point-to-point winner from the now 141-rated No Hassle Hoff, he was also just a neck second to the 140+ rated Beyond Conceit at Ascot last year, a race in which the third, fourth and fifth have since won off marks of 134, 141 and 134. He’s also 2 from 2 on right-handed tracks.
Tip: Topofthegame each-way @ 9/1 Totesport or WilliamHill

Warwick 3.35

The handicapper looks to have given Missed Approach a real chance having dropped him 6lb for finishing sixth in the Ladbrokes Trophy. He does have top-weight, but isn’t facing anything like the same calibre of horse here. Hopefully, he will also be able to dictate his own pace near the head of affairs, as the opposition are generally slow horses, many of which would prefer the ground to be heavy.
Tip: Missed Approach win @ 7/1 Totesport or 6/1 WilliamHill
